Anthony Mackey, an 84-year-old man, was found dead on November 26, 1988, under suspicious circumstances in Larimer County, Colorado. Months prior to his death, Mackey had sustained blunt trauma to his central nervous system due to a fall, leaving him bedridden and helpless. He was cared for by his niece and her college-aged son.
