A woman is found strangled to death inside of her apartment.
On May 12, 1989, 28-year-old Mary Showman was found strangled to death in her apartment near Mississippi Avenue and South Parker Road in Denver, Colorado. Showman had been dead for several days before her body was discovered by concerned coworkers who went to her apartment after she failed to show up for work. Her vehicle, which was not parked near her apartment complex, was later found abandoned several blocks away, adding further mystery to the case.
