A woman is found strangled to death inside of her apartment.
In the spring of 1989, concern grew for 28-year-old Mary Showman, a white female, when she uncharacteristically failed to show up for her job in Denver, Colorado. On May 12th, her worried coworkers went to her apartment located near Mississippi Avenue and South Parker Road to check on her. Tragically, their concerns were realized when they discovered her body inside.
