In the spring of 1979, the life of Bonita Raye Morgan, a 27-year-old White woman, was tragically cut short in Denver, Colorado. On March 27, 1979, her body was discovered behind the Dewitt Hotel, in an alley located in the 1500 block of Glenarm and Tremont Streets. An investigation into her death determined that she had been strangled.
