In the early hours of March 15, 2015, the sound of what some residents dismissed as fireworks pierced the quiet of the Lowry neighborhood in Denver, Colorado. In reality, it was a burst of gunfire that tragically ended the lives of two men. Deanthony Clyde Williams, a 30-year-old man, was one of the victims in what police would later describe as a gang-related double homicide.
