Colorado man found dead in his home under suspicious circumstances
In the quiet community of Fort Lupton, Colorado, the life of a local business owner came to an abrupt and violent end in December of 2000. Steven Craig Mayo, a 45-year-old man, was discovered deceased in his residence on Weld County Road 18. The grim finding was made on the morning of December 19th after neighbors grew concerned. They had noticed that the screen door to his house was broken and the front door stood slightly ajar, prompting them to alert law enforcement.
