On a cold November evening in 2011, a burst of violence on a west side Milwaukee street cut short the life of 18-year-old Dequan D. Williams, a Black male. The incident unfolded on November 30th in the 3600 block of W. Vliet St.. Williams was shot and gravely wounded at the scene.
