In the early hours of March 27, 2013, a night out for 21-year-old Dimontrell Pompey, an African-American male, and his companions took a tragic turn. After an evening of bar-hopping in Milwaukee, the group decided to get something to eat. At the restaurant, an intoxicated Pompey was asked to leave by a security guard. He then walked off by himself.
