In the late hours of a March evening in 2014, the life of 35-year-old African-American male Lamar Nash was tragically cut short in a burst of violence on the north side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. On March 10th, just before 10 p.m., gunshots echoed in the 5100 block of N. 39th Street, leaving Nash gravely wounded. He was rushed from the scene, clinging to life, but his battle ended four days later when he succumbed to his injuries.
