In the spring of 2014, the life of 49-year-old African-American male Marvin Smith came to a violent and tragic end on a street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His death on May 18, 2014, was not a random act of violence but, according to authorities, a calculated execution in retaliation for his cooperation with law enforcement.
