On July 31, 2012, Tarvette Devon Baugh, a 36-year-old mother, was fatally shot in Houston, Texas. The incident took place around 3:40 a.m. at the Ashwood Condominiums, located at 10203 Forum Park in southwest Houston. Baugh was shot multiple times in the chest as she was getting out of her car, apparently returning home when she was approached by multiple suspects. Police have indicated that robbery may have been the motive for the attack.
