In the autumn of 2010, the discovery of a young man's body inside an abandoned car cast a somber shadow over a Denver neighborhood. The man was identified as 26-year-old Santiago Gutierrez-Hernandez, a Hispanic male. On October 17, 2010, police responded to a call about a silver four-door Ford Focus that had been left in the 1100 block of South King Street in the Garfield Park area.
