Verquell Bailey, an 18-year-old from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, lost his life to gun violence on August 27, 2016. He was found on the sidewalk near the intersection of 19th and Meinecke streets, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite any immediate medical response, Bailey was pronounced dead at the scene.
