On the night of October 27, 2010, 21-year-old Paul Cortez was fatally shot near the intersection of Bruce Randolph Avenue and York Street in Denver, Colorado. Police responded to reports of gunfire and found Cortez suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Denver Health Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
