On a Friday afternoon in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on February 24, 2017, a young African-American man named Jamel E. Jenkins had his life cut tragically short. At just 25 years old, Jenkins was seated in a vehicle in the 2600 block of N. 57th St. when he was fatally shot. The incident occurred around 2 p.m., shattering the normalcy of the day.
