On a summer evening in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the life of 20-year-old African-American male Marquis King was cut short. On July 3, 2017, in the residential area of the 1800 block of West Nash Street, a suspect approached King and fatally shot him multiple times. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office later confirmed that King's death was a homicide caused by these gunshot wounds.
