Marvin James Smith, 33, male, Black, was shot on the late afternoon of January 22, 2011, inside the Wise Harris Arms Apartments at 605 26th Street in Denver. Responding officers found him suffering from a gunshot wound; paramedics rushed him to Denver Health Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 5:47 p.m. that day.
