A 17 year old is shot and killed in a wooded area in Vancouver, WA
In August 1997, the body of 17-year-old Carle McConnell was located in the 1600 block of Devine Road. Once his body was found by officials, his case is immediately labeled as a homicide investigation.

“This case has remained active for nearly 26 years, and detectives from the Vancouver Police Department Major Crimes Unit have maintained connection with Carle’s family, who remain committed to seeking justice for Carle,” Crime Stoppers said in a news release.
