An argument in a Denver park tragically escalated to violence, leaving one young man dead and a woman seriously injured. Eighteen-year-old Tarell Burton was fatally shot in the Park Hill neighborhood on the evening of March 9, 2016. He was a young father. A 20-year-old woman with him at the time, Bernice Serrano, was also shot multiple times and was hospitalized with what were described as life-threatening and life-changing injuries.
