Brenda Gee Knight, age 35, was last seen alive in November 2000 after being dropped off in Richmond, Virginia. Her remains were discovered on June 29, 2001, by a kayaker on the banks of the Mattaponi River in King and Queen County. However, her body was not identified until 2013, when DNA analysis linked her remains to her family.
