She departed from her friend's residence but never completed the familiar journey back to her own house. The following day, November 23, 1991, her body was discovered in a field off Newtown Road.

Fortune is currently being held at the Middle Peninsula Regional Security Center and is scheduled to appear in King and Queen Circuit Court.
