In the late summer of 2012, the life of Antonio Monte Dinkins, a 25-year-old Black / African American male, was cut short in a tragic act of violence in Richmond, Virginia. On the evening of September 7th, Dinkins was discovered with gunshot wounds in the 1900 block of Glenlea Avenue. He was rushed to VCU Medical Center for treatment, but succumbed to his injuries nearly a week later on September 13, 2012.
