On February 19, 1999, 15-year-old Sonya Wallace disappeared in Rockdale, Texas, after leaving her home to walk to a nearby post office to mail a letter. She was expected to return shortly, but she never came back. Sonya's family and the local community were left in shock as efforts to find her continued for weeks.
