On February 19, 1999, 15-year-old Sonya Wallace disappeared in Rockdale, Texas, after leaving her home to walk to a nearby post office to mail a letter. She was expected to return shortly, but she never came back. Sonya's family and the local community were left in shock as efforts to find her continued for weeks. On March 14, 1999, nearly a month after her disappearance, Sonya's body was discovered by a civilian in a creek bed off County Road 490, located near Coupland in Williamson County. Her ...
