Jose Cruz, a 30-year-old resident of Houston, Texas, was found deceased on May 28, 2007, after being the victim of a fatal stabbing at an apartment complex located at 16826 City View Place. The incident occurred in the early hours, and Houston Police Department (HPD) officers responded to the scene following a welfare check initiated by Cruz’s coworkers when he failed to report to work.
