In the early hours of a summer morning in Denver, Colorado, tragedy struck on North Stuart Street. On July 19, 2015, at approximately 2:00 a.m., the sound of gunfire shattered the quiet, leading to a response from officers to a shooting with multiple victims. Among those injured was 22-year-old Carlos Ruiz Reyes, a male whose life was cut short that day.
