Abraham Woods Jr., aged 44, was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds in his apartment on May 1, 2009, in west Houston. His body was discovered in a unit at the Villas at Westheimer by a manager who was responding to complaints about loud television noise. The Houston Police Department reported that Woods' white 2001 Mercedes was missing from the garage, adding to the suspicion surrounding the crime.
