Jessie Shepherd, aged 24, was fatally shot on December 21, 2011, in Houston, Texas. The incident occurred at a residence located in the 2200 block of Briley Street near Webster, southeast of downtown Houston. According to reports from the Houston Police Department, the shooting took place at around 10:30 p.m. on December 20th. Jessie Shepherd, who lived at the address, was rushed to Ben Taub General Hospital after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Another man present at the scene was also injured in the leg during the incident and was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital, where he was expected to recover. Witnesses reported that five masked men were involved in the shooting before fleeing the scene. Despite initial investigations, the police did not release descriptions of the suspects, and no clear motive was determined.
