On July 8, 2012, 29-year-old Jorge Vega was fatally shot in Houston, Texas. The incident occurred in the early morning hours near the 5000 block of Westheimer Road. Houston Police Department officers responded to reports of gunfire and found Vega with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
