Maria Soto-Garcia, a 61-year-old woman of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically lost her life on October 8, 2014, in Houston, Texas. She was an innocent bystander who was fatally shot in her apartment at the Williamstown Apartment complex on Bissonnet Street. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. on October 7, 2014, when two suspects were involved in a shooting in the apartment complex parking lot.
