On June 13, 2016, George William Edmond, Jr., aged 36, was fatally shot during a home invasion in Houston, Texas. The incident took place in the 8200 block of Willow around 9:45 a.m. Edmond's wife answered a knock at the door and was confronted by two males armed with pistols who forced their way inside, demanding money.
