On July 17, 2016, Francisco Ortega Martinez, a 35-year-old Hispanic male, was fatally shot in the driveway of his residence in southeast Houston, Texas. The incident occurred around 3:25 a.m. when Francisco Ortega Martinez and his girlfriend returned home to the 7300 block of Lamar Street.
