Jackson proceeded to drive to the parking lot of the Leawood Plaza apartment complex to inspect the damage.
While Jackson was examining his vehicle, he was approached by an unknown male suspect.
The suspect and Jackson began arguing, which escalated quickly, and a gunshot was heard. Jackson's friend, who was still inside the car, witnessed the suspect fleeing the scene on foot. The friend attempted to save Jackson by driving him to the West Houston Medical Center, but unfortunately, Jackson succumbed to his injuries.
