On September 22, 2016, George Jackson, aged 21, was fatally shot in Houston, Texas. The incident took place around 2:30 a.m. near 11402 Beechnut. According to reports from the Houston Police Department, Jackson and his friend were driving in the area when their vehicle struck a curb. Jackson proceeded to drive to the parking lot of the Leawood Plaza apartment complex to inspect the damage.
