On October 14, 2011, Lamount Lastie, a 37-year-old father of two, was tragically killed in his Houston apartment located on Meadowglen Lane. Early that morning, neighbors reported loud banging followed by gunfire coming from his residence. Shortly after, a neighbor found the apartment door ajar and discovered Lastie’s body lying inside. Lastie was pronounced dead on the scene from gunshot wounds, with police and medical personnel responding quickly to the situation.
