On a February night in 1985, a horrific crime shattered the quiet of rural Tehama County, California. A home invasion at a private residence left three victims dead—Jana Provence, age 24, female; Patrick Quinn, male; and Mark Allison, male. What began as an intrusion escalated into a triple homicide, with the attackers leaving devastation behind. After the murders, the house was deliberately set on fire in an act of arson, an attempt to destroy evidence and erase the scene of the killings.
