On the night of October 11, 1989, Cathy Paternoster, aged 32, was tragically shot and killed in the driveway of her home in Spring Valley Lake, California. Cathy and her boyfriend, Carl Fuerst, had just returned home with their children when a masked assailant emerged from the shadows and opened fire.
