Karen Lopez, age 22, was tragically shot and killed on December 31, 2017, in Houston, Texas. Her body was discovered along with that of another individual, Robert Cerda, in an apparent double homicide. Both victims had been shot, and their bodies were found at different locations within the Houston area. The incident was initially treated as a cold case, with few leads and limited evidence.
