Nakia L Baker

In the early morning hours of Sunday, January 7, 2007, the life of Nakia Ladelle Baker was tragically cut short in a parking lot on Nolensville Road in South Nashville. Baker, a 32-year-old man from Murfreesboro, had spent the preceding hours socializing with friends at Club Aventura, an after-hours establishment. Just before 6:00 a.m., as he was leaving the club and opening the door to his blue 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue, he was fatally shot.
