On November 4, 2009, 15-year-old Alex Bolar was tragically shot and killed in Memphis, Tennessee. The incident occurred in the late afternoon around 5:15 p.m. when police responded to a "man-down" call at Georgian Hills Park. Upon arrival, officers discovered Alex Bolar lying on the ground with a fatal gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
