In the late morning of a Saturday in March 2013, the body of 19-year-old Monterio Callicutt was discovered lying on the ground in the 6100 block of Lacewood Cove in the Hickory Hill area of Memphis, Tennessee. Answering a call about an unresponsive man just before noon on March 16th, police arrived to find the young male deceased at the scene from a gunshot wound. His death was officially recorded as having occurred on March 15, 2013.
