On the night of December 19, 2017, 52-year-old Atanacio Comacho-Cedillo was fatally shot during a violent attempted robbery outside the Dollar General Market on Nolensville Pike in Nashville, Tennessee. Atanacio was walking through the parking lot when he was approached by two individuals, who then shot him. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
