Roy Dixon, a resident of West Point, California, was found dead on October 14, 1997, under mysterious and brutal circumstances. Deputies initially responded to Winton Road at around 2:30 a.m. following reports of gunshots in the area. Soon after, reports of a fire were received, and upon arrival, authorities found a burning vehicle with Dixon’s body lying approximately four feet away.
