In the late hours of a Thursday evening in Charleston, South Carolina, tragedy befell 36-year-old Cleveland 'Damon' Richardson. On January 12, 2012, at approximately 10:13 p.m., police responded to a call at 655 Meeting Street where they discovered Richardson unresponsive on the ground, having sustained a gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to the Medical University of South Carolina, but tragically succumbed to his injuries. His official date of passing was recorded as January 13, 2012.
