On January 9, 2007, Damien Robinson, a 25-year-old from Pittsburgh, was shot and killed in what was one of the numerous homicides affecting the city that year. The incident took place in Pittsburgh’s Homewood neighborhood, which had been experiencing ongoing issues with violent crime.
