Jeremaine Hardy, a 30-year-old resident of Philadelphia, was fatally shot on December 6, 2008. The incident occurred outside the Fuzion Grille & Social Club located on 2nd Street, near Spring Garden Street. Hardy was shot multiple times in the chest and leg at approximately 3:40 a.m. Emergency services responded quickly, but he was pronounced dead at the hospital shortly after arrival.
