Death by Force

Antoine Charles Thomas Jr., a 16-year-old from the West End of Pittsburgh, was tragically killed on August 9, 2009. The incident occurred at his home in the 3700 block of Chartiers Avenue. Antoine was in the backyard with his family when he was shot in the back. This fatal shooting happened in what should have been the safety of his home, adding another painful instance to the growing problem of violence involving young individuals in the area.
