Manuel Mateus, aged 27, was tragically shot and killed on May 9, 2011, in Philadelphia. The incident occurred on the 4800 block of North 5th Street. Philadelphia Police officers responded to reports of a shooting and discovered Mateus at the scene. Despite efforts to provide medical care, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
