Saleem Harrison, a 30-year-old resident of Philadelphia, was fatally shot on September 7, 2011. The incident occurred near his home on the 500 block of Locust Avenue in the Germantown neighborhood. Harrison was struck by multiple gunshots to the chest around 10:30 p.m. He was transported to Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly before 10:45 p.m.
