Nicholas Kendall

Nicholas Kendall, a 19-year-old Black male from Philadelphia, was shot and killed in the city he called home, leaving behind the kind of unanswered questions that make a young person’s death even harder to understand. He was only 19, at the very beginning of adulthood, when violence cut his life short late on Sunday night, March 25, 2012. What began as a night on Frankford Avenue ended with police rushing to the 5700 block, where they found Nicholas gravely wounded in the street.
