Melanie Colon, a 22-year-old mother and DJ, was tragically killed on May 12, 2012, in Philadelphia. Her decomposing body was found in Juniata Park, where she had been shot six times. Melanie disappeared on May 8, 2012, after leaving her home with an acquaintance, Reynaldo "Chino" Torres. Both went missing together, and while Torres initially became a person of interest, he was also later found dead.
