In the late summer of 2012, a life that was just beginning to blossom was tragically cut short on the streets of Philadelphia. Kristopher Herold, known to friends and family as Kyra Cordova, was a 27-year-old transgender woman with a vibrant spirit and a promising future. In the early hours of September 3rd, her body was discovered in the Frankford section of the city, the victim of a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
