Eugene Majett, a 21-year-old resident of Philadelphia, was shot and killed on October 23, 2012. His death occurred during a particularly violent period in the city, which had already seen an increase in homicides compared to previous years. Eugene was found with multiple gunshot wounds, and despite the prompt arrival of emergency responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
